Venkat has over 35 years of post-qualification experience. He is a Commerce and Law graduate, qualified information systems auditor and a qualified fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

He has advised listed companies, MNC’s and other clients on various aspects of domestic taxation, cross-border taxation, interpretation of tax treaties, withholding tax, tax litigation, tax holiday benefits and corporate restructuring.

He was seconded to Dhruva Consultants, UAE between 2022 and 2024 where he helped set up the Corporate tax practice and advised clients on UAE Corporate tax. Venkat’s expertise lies in the Automotive, Engineering, IT, Pharmaceutical and Retail sectors.

Prior to joining Dhruva Advisors as a Partner in 2018, in India he was a Tax Partner with PwC between 2011 and 2018. He has also worked with EY and SAMREF in KSA.

Since May 2024, he has taken on the role of setting up our practice at GIFT City, Gandhi Nagar as a Senior Advisor with the firm.
