Venkatachalam K has over 32 years of post-qualification experience. He is a graduate in Commerce from Delhi University, a Law graduate from Pune and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is also a qualified Information Systems auditor from ICAI.

He advises clients on various aspects of domestic and cross-border taxation and interpretation of tax treaties. He has advised and supported them on various tax issues, including withholding tax, litigation before the CIT(A)/DRP and ITAT, tax holiday benefits and corporate restructuring.

Venkat’s special expertise lies in the Automotive, Engineering, Pharmaceutical and IT sectors.

Prior to joining Dhruva Advisors, he has worked with EY and SAMREF in Saudi Arabia. In India he has worked with RSM & Co and was Tax Partner with PwC between 2011 and 2018.
