Venkat has over 37 years of post-qualification experience. He is a Commerce and Law graduate, qualified information systems auditor and Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was a Tax Partner with PwC at Chennai and Pune, between 2011 and 2018. He has also worked with EY and SAMREF in KSA.

He joined Dhruva as a Partner in 2018 and helped set up our Pune office, he was seconded to Dhruva Consultants, UAE between 2022 – 2024 where he helped set up our corporate tax practice, office at Abu Dhabi and advised clients on UAE Corporate tax. Since May 2024, he has taken on the role of setting up our practice at GIFT City, Gandhi Nagar as a Senior Advisor with the firm.

He advises listed companies, MNC’s and other clients on various aspects of domestic taxation, cross-border taxation, interpretation of tax treaties, withholding tax, tax litigation, tax holiday benefits, and corporate restructuring.
