Sunil has wide experience in handling Corporate Tax Advisory, Complex Corporate Tax Litigation, FEMA, International Tax issues, Cross Border Structuring Black Money Act, etc for large domestic and foreign clients.

Prior to joining Dhruva Advisors, he was a Partner with Ernst & Young LLP till his retirement in June 2020. He has worked extensively for large clients across sectors like Cement, Steel, Biotech, Textiles, Renewable Energy, Media and Entertainment, Automobile, Packaging, Real Estate etc.

Pioneered important controversy assignments for Agro Companies, Manufacturing Companies and Foreign Companies where tribunal Courts have held in favour of tax payers on complex tax issues.

Pioneered important controversy assignments for Seed Cos and Foreign Cos on PE issues, where the HC has ruled in favour of the taxpayer.

Prior to this he had a 10 years stint with RSM & Co (which merged with PwC), largest tax boutique firm outside the Big 4, Arthur Andersen and Bansi S Mehta & Co, all top tier tax boutique firms.
