Sangita is an Associate Partner in the Indirect Tax team at our Bengaluru office.

With over 12 years of experience in indirect tax, Sangita has built a strong foundation in advising clients on optimizing tax structures, ensuring compliance, and managing complex litigation matters. Her expertise spans multiple sectors, including emerging technology, e-commerce (with a focus on Quick Commerce), hospitality, real estate, and pharma.

A Big 4-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Sangita brings valuable experience from BMR Advisors and Deloitte. She has played a pivotal role in building the GST advocacy practice at Deloitte, engaging with policy stakeholders at both Central and State levels and strengthening relationships with key industry bodies. Additionally, she has led teams handling significant indirect tax litigation, including VAT on software sales, service tax on fund income, and critical customs classification issues.

Beyond her technical expertise, Sangita is deeply passionate about the role of technology in shaping the future of tax compliance and the broader regulatory landscape.
