Sandeep is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a law graduate from Mumbai University, with over 30 years of post qualification experience in dealing with tax controversies, tax litigation and dispute settlement.

He has worked with several multinational and domestic clients to design and implement overall tax controversy strategy.

Sandeep has successfully represented clients in some of the largest tax controversies in India. He represents before various tax authorities & alternate forums including the Settlement Commission, Dispute Resolution Panels, Authority for Advance Ruling (AAR) and Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).

He has also represented clients during investigations under the Income Tax law, benami transactions and PMLA. He has worked extensively on entry & exit strategies for several multinational clients & provide insightful tax advisory services.

Sandeep enjoys some of the best relationships with Tax Offices across the country and has also been part of some committees of leading tax practitioners in the country.

Prior to joining Dhruva, Sandeep was a Partner with KPMG.
