A Chartered Accountant with a Commerce degree from the University of Bangalore, he has extensive experience working with domestic corporates, institutions, and foreign clients on structuring complex private equity deals, domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, and providing regulatory and strategic advisory services.

Ritesh specializes in domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, bringing sophisticated tax structuring expertise to complex transactions. His practice encompasses fund formation, group reorganizations, and asset disposals, with particular strength in financial services regulatory matters and Indian fund law.

His international taxation practice focuses on cross-border transaction structuring and tax optimization strategies, helping clients achieve efficient structures within India’s regulatory framework.

Ritesh actively contributes to the venture capital and private equity ecosystem through his roles on the Indian Venture Capital Association’s Regulatory Affairs Committee and Working Group on Taxation. He currently serves on the committee developing the model tax code for India’s Private Equity & Venture Capital industry.
