Ritesh is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Commerce degree from the University of Bangalore, India. He is a seasoned tax professional with over 15 years of experience. He joins us from BDO. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at one of the Big 4s and has also worked at one of the leading law firms.

Ritesh comes with rich experience in handling complex transaction structuring mandates for M&A, fund structuring, group reorganizations, and disposal of assets. He also has deep experience in various direct tax laws including advising clients on fund structures, exchange control regulations and non-banking regulations.

Over the years, Ritesh has also been actively advising companies on international taxation matters, direct tax issues related to structuring cross-border transactions and identifying tax planning opportunities with an overall objective to achieve a tax efficient structure in India.

Ritesh is a member of the Indian Venture Capital Association’s Regulatory Affairs Committee and the Working Group on Taxation. He is also on the committee assisting the Indian Venture Capital Association in drafting the model tax code for Private Equity & Venture Capital industry.
