Hany Elnaggar
Associate Partner
Hany is a Chartered Accountant with Master’s degree in accounting and has more than 25 years of tax experience in various industries and multiple jurisdictions including Middle East, Africa & Turkey.
Hany has worked with Companies such as Al Tayer Group, Nissan Motor Corporation, Ericsson, ACWA Power, Novartis and PWC. He has extensive experience in direct and indirect tax, international tax planning, TP, CbC reporting, BEPS, PE profit allocation, creating and establishing tax departments, ZAKAT, tax audit, tax appeals and is a VAT implementation leader for GCC.
Before joining Dhruva, Hany was working with Al Tayer Group covering ME & GCC as the Head of Direct & International Tax.
Hany has visited Canada under supervision of United Nations for studying tax systems and participated in creating tax systems in Large Taxpayer Centre.
One of Hany’s proud moment is being nominated by ITR “International Tax Review” for In-house Tax Director of the year for 2022.
He has also published many articles and papers covering various tax aspects including and not limited to Transfer Pricing, Direct Tax, International Tax, VAT, Tax Digitalization, tax planning and Tax Audits.
