Asmita is member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI) and has more than 18 years of experience in the field of direct tax advisory, controversies and litigation.

Asmita has significant experience in advising clients across industry spectrum consisting of Manufacturing, Information Technology, etc. Asmita has also worked with several not-for-profit organizations.

Asmita has been instrumental in resolution of some of the most complex tax controversies in respect of some of the largest philanthropic institutions in India, high net worth individuals, MNC’s, etc.

Asmita has been actively involved in representation before revenue authorities in tax compliance and litigation matters at various levels including ITAT, High Court & Supreme Court.

Prior to joining Dhruva Advisors, Asmita was a Director with the direct tax team at KPMG.
