Vikram is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and CPA with over 30 years under his belt in the corporate sector and tax consulting. He is also a certified leadership assessor and a trained coach.
Vikram was previously Partner at Grant Thornton India, leading the Pune Office and the firm’s culture transformation and tax partner at PwC, He was also part of the senior team at RSM almost two decades ago. His corporate stint include finance roles in the Tata Group, Thermax and the Venky’s group.
At PwC, Vikram held several senior positions such as India Leader for Global Tax Compliance, SEZ India practice leader and Tax Transformation. He was also involved in several people initiatives and was the Chair of the Partners Admission committee. Vikram represented PwC at “Genesis Park”, a highly profiled global leadership program, both as a nominated participant and later as a Partner-mentor. At Grant Thornton, Vikram drove culture transformation through a formal process adopted by the firm.
Vikram’s career highlights include being invited to the Latin American Free Zone Conference to present on the SEZ landscape in India as a guest of the Govt of the Dominican Republic in 2010.
He is a prolific writer – has penned several articles on the subjects of taxation, leadership and post budget analysis, both in the media and on LinkedIn. He is a keen trekker and student of military history.
